EASTON wheelset EA90 AX Disc 

The Easton EA90 AX wheels have been specially developed for the requirements of gravel and adventure bikes. With an inner width of 25 millimeters, the rim is very wide and offers 35C to 55C tires with low air pressure very good support. 
The wheels are built around Easton's Vault hubs, which, with its oversized hub shell, offer extremely high rigidity for the construction of robust and durable wheels. The smooth-running labyrinth rubber seals guarantee a high level of protection in adverse external conditions. With 60 locking points per wheel revolution, the Vault hub is one of the finest toothed hubs on the market. This enables an extremely direct approach. The fine toothing is achieved via a pawl freewheel with three double-toothed pawls and a toothed washer with 60 locking points. The low resistance of the pawl springs ensures extremely low energy loss when rolling. 
For a simple conversion of the hubs to other axle type standards, the end caps of the Vault hubs can be exchanged without tools. 
To save weight, the wheels are built with double butted Sapim Straightpull spokes.
